Philosophy
The marketing experts say that I should come up with a bunch of different packages with romantic but confusing names like "The Platinum Dream Wedding". I tried that years ago, and got tired of explaining how each package was different and why the couple needed to decide before the wedding what album and how many shots they wanted me to take. When I switched from film to digital, I decided to change the way I did business. I decided to let my clients know up front that what they are paying for is my time and experience.
I decided that simpler was better.
I decided to make the digital negative a standard part of my package.
I decided to only offer one package - "Your Wedding"- to be customized.
I decided to offer the albums seperately from the base package. Buy your album from me, or make your own! All Albums ordered before the Wedding are discounted an additional 20%
Albums and enlargements can be ordered after the wedding. After you've seen the images. And since you and I both know that what you are paying for is my time and experience, it won't bother me at all if you decide to have all your prints made elsewhere. Of course, I'll be happy to make prints for you, at a price that's about half of the national average for professional studios.
